Year 8

Year 8 is an enthusiastic and exciting group of students who are displaying considerable talent in many creative areas. They enjoy participating in school activities such as sport carnivals as well as drama and musical performances and there are many active Year 8 members in the SRC. They have formed many strong friendships throughout the last year.

Curriculum

Year 8 students follow a similar pattern of study to Year 7. However they have a choice of languages which they study for 100 hours:

• French
• Italian
• Chinese
• Japanese
• Spanish

Special Religious Education (SRE)

At Mosman High School, SRE is delivered on Thursdays on a rotational format.

On enrolment parents/carers will be given the SRE participation letter to complete and return. After the initial enrolment, notification of changes to a child's enrolment in SRE should be emailed to the school at mosman-h.school@det.nsw.edu.au.

The following SRE classes are offered at Mosman High School:

During the time that SRE classes are being held, students not attending remain in class and will participate in meaningful activities such as reading, private study or completing homework/revision.
